Filtered sunlight streaming through the pines. A morning bike ride along the flat, curving trails near Cape Henlopen State Park. Later, maybe make time for a stroll along the mile-long Boardwalk, picking up a box of salt water taffy at Dolles, or a large cup of Thrasher’s Fries.

Rehoboth Beach, Delaware has been named the “Best Family Beach on the East Coast” so many times, city officials have lost count.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think Mar-a-Lago has ever won that distinction. Sure, the opulent Palm Beach mansion, built by Raisin Bran heiress Marjorie Merriweather Post in 1924, is a National Historic Landmark. But it also contains the Trumped-up Mar-a-Lago Club — I’m not sure how the current occupant of the White House pulled that off in 1995, but we all know his taste trends to the tacky.

President-elect Joe Biden owns a house in Rehoboth Beach, near the state park. When they’re home at the beach, he and Dr. Jill take daily bike rides. Biden works out five times a week and can bench-press his weight, which happens to be 215 pounds.

The Orange Oaf looks to be pretty good at zooming a golf cart around his many properties, including the one near his Palm Beach oasis. He says he’s 236 pounds, more or less. Experts report that…
